Grow your own good gut bugs
Swarm intelligence
Why? There are trillions of microbes of thousands of species in your gut. Each cell can communicate with its neighbour to create swarm intelligence which controls our bodies, including our appetite.
If we have a healthy gut we can look forward to a long and healthy life.
Breed like crazy
Gut bugs are easy to breed, they breed like crazy making a randy teenage party look like a pack of nuns. So why isn’t everyone breeding their own gut bugs?
Because there are bad bugs which also breed easily and make us fat and sick.
Ecological balance
So how can we breed the good bugs without breeding the bad bugs?
For the same reason there are no polar bears in Africa or Antelopes in the Arctic.
It is called Ecological balance, if the conditions favour a particular species they will out compete and out breed the other species.
We show you how to create the conditions that favour the good bugs.
Reality check
Time for a reality check. The modern web is saturated with promotions for magic pills, often from some plants you have never heard of from some remote part of the world.
Fortunately, they are harmless and their main effect is to transfer money from your bank account to theirs.
We are involved with microbes, what we commonly call bugs or even more directly germs. These are dangerous and for most of human existence people have died from infectious diseases. It is only recently that we have had the technology of hygiene and medicine to bring these diseases under control.
But as a consequence we have killed of the beneficial microbes that should give us health and has led to a global epidemic of chronic or non infectious diseases.
We are trying to correct that but it does involve breeding beneficial microbes without breeding the harmful ones.
This has to be done with due care and attention We don’t want people eating plants grown in stagnant conditions full of decaying organic waste.
Food myths
Don’t believe the myth that you can hand over a significant amount of money and take some pills and you will be free from the threat of chronic diseases.
Despite all the hype and catch phrases like “eat less exercise more” chronic diseases continue to expand across the globe.
Diabetes is the fastest growing of all diseases and causes far more harm than infectious diseases like Covid.
Overweight, obesity, and the chronic diseases which follow, affect a high proportion of the global population.
Despite the millions of dollars spent by our Governments on simplistic solutions they do not work.
If we are going to reverse chronic diseases so people live long and healthy lives (eg increase health span), we have to face the harsh reality and change our food system so at least some of the food that we eat contains the beneficial microbes which power our gut-brain which regulates our appetite.
Social, not technical problem
This is not a technical problem, we know how to breed beneficial microbes in the soil, grow plants that contain these microbes and eat the plants while they are fresh before they die.
It is a social problem of changing our food system which is dominated by mega-corporations who prioritise profits.
A few dedicated gardeners can grow some of their own food in Gbiota beds. It is a good place to start but it only benefits a small proportion of the population.
Gbiota baskets
Gbiota baskets were developed to solve this problem. The baskets sit in holes in Gbiota beds so the beneficial microbes can move into the baskets and hence the plants.
The baskets can then be delivered to consumers who just have to water them and circulate the soil blood which is part of the Gbiota technology.
Anyone can be shown how to do this simple process.
The baskets are swapped for fresh baskets when the plants have been consumed.
Creating a new industry
To achieve this we need to create a new industry of local growers trained in the technology of breeding beneficial microbes in the soil.
Creating a new global industry is a massive undertaking that needs the cooperation of not only growers, but also Governments, health care professionals, researchers, and of course the public.
For success we need a plan
We already have home growers who form a base from which to start. We will continue to support home growers who provide a source of expertise and confirmation.
They can monitor their health, particularly if they feel their appetite is working as it should but also more scientific measurements like continuous blood sugar monitoring.
Some of these home growers will be dedicated and from an inner core.
We need growers, training a new grower is not an issue but locating growers with an entrepreneurial attitude, willing to pioneer a new industry is a challenge.
Step by step
The first step is to get as many people as possible to view gbiota.com.
I have set it up so that viewers can read key articles, free of charge but they will need to register.
I am already advertising and promoting the web using YouTube videos.
Hopefully, some of these viewers will want to move onto the next stage which is registering as a consumer.
There is a nominal charge for this, we receive no external funding for such a large project.
The next step is to register as a home grower. This does involve significant training so there is a higher, but still very moderate charge. This is the next step, even for growers interested in setting up a commercial operation.
The next step is for some of the people who have registered as commercial growers.
They become licensed but independent growers. Gbiota provides umbrella marketing aimed at recruiting new consumers and will link these consumers to a local grower who will sell directly to the consumer.
Creating a this new industry of gut-bug growers is the way to reverse the epidemic of chronic diseases.
