News flash for Gbiota club members
When the virus has gone, as it surely will, the world will be a very different place. People will understand that the best protection against the next virus, which again will surely come, is to have a population with a healthy immune system.
70% of our immune system comes from a health gut and a healthy gut come by adding to our diet food that feeds our guts. 90% of the people that have died from this virus have been eating a poor diet lacking essential phytonutrients, trace minerals and beneficial biology.
People in aged care die because they are living on highly processed food lacking these basic essentials not simply because they are old.
If you have a strong immune system from feeding you guts you may get the virus and have no symptoms, if you have a weak immune system you may die. Difficult decision eh!
Now I have been a bit fanatical about gut food since my wife, a qualified surgeon and medical doctor became diabetic, here foot started to turn black and they were talking about chopping it off (and she has nice legs). We avoided this by growing healthy food in our garden. so I have been happy enough growing food and writing articles on my web and blogs to share with the community the information about how to grow gut food.
I now realise that is not enough, I want to help create a new industry of local micro farms and home gardeners growing healthy gut food. But I am old (eighty and still fit, healthy and active) was an early pioneer and innovator in the computer aided revolution, no Bill Gates but earning a living is not an issue for me.
But a local micro farms is a business which has to support a family, I can offer technical advice on growing gut food I am not a financial person so I am working with Link, a well respected firm of chartered accountants and financial advisers in Brisbane city. I choose them because the directors have a personal interest in gut biology and they have a subsidiary specialising in internet marketing, which will be critical in the local micro farm industry.
I am working with them to produce a manual on how to set up and run a local micro farm and paying hobby home grown business.
This will be a professionally produced but I suggest you have a read of my first draft, really just a brain dump.
Now let us be clear, I am not asking for money, this is going to be an expensive project and I am happy to put up the seed capital but I need to know for sure that there are people out there who want to set up a local micro farm business and equally important that there are enough people who will buy from them.
If the community wants access to healthy gut food it needs to support the growers who put the health of the community above short term profits.
So I need your help.
Market research with prepared forms is pretty useless at finding out what people are really thinking, what really matters is peoples first thoughts when they come across a new idea.
So what I am asking you to do is to send me a very short email. email@example.com
Start with a few key words about yourself, young or old, rich or poor, city or rural and whether you are interested in setting up a micro farming business (to earn a living), a home gardener who is happy to earn a bit of extra pocket money or if you have an interest in buying locally grown gut food how you would want to buy, are you happy to buy on line, want delivery to your home or you will pick up from a food hub or whether you just want to go out for a meal to a cafe that includes gut food in their menu.
Don’t think about it – just put down a few phrases that summarises you immediate reaction.
Just three requests
– use ‘local micro farm’ as your subject so I find it among all my junk mail
– be honest if you like chicken wings and chips, think supermarket and just taking a pill supplement is OK and convenient, and you just pay lip service to healthy food just say so.
– drag your friends, real and on line into this so we get a real feeling for what people really think.
I commit to reading every message but if you want a more detailed chat just put ‘want to chat’ in your message so I can get back to you later after the first wave of emails.
